Yes, you can take prenatal vitamins. I will not hurt anything. Make sure you drink plenty of water. It'll do wonders for your hair. Also get it trimmed about every 6-8 weeks to cut off the dead ends. Deep condition twice a week to keep it looking healthy.Vitamins for hair growth?
Phyto (a high end all natural hair care line) makes vitamins called Phytophenare, and they are designed to make hair grow longer, faster and thicker. They are fairly pricey ($50 for a 2 month supply), but they work really well, and are definitely worth the price if you want results. They are carried at Nordstrom, Sephora and amazon.com. You might just visit one of those stores and look at the ingredients to see if it is something you can duplicate on your own.

I would be careful of prenatal vitamins if you are not a woman. I don't think they actually have hormones in them, but you might not need that much iron etc since you are a guy.
At your age , your hair will grow at its normal rate . Realistically , vitamins will not make your hair grow any longer quicker. They can do allot in helping your body and systems work better and be healthier. I looked it up for you and nowhere does my clinical nutrition book say under vitamins there is a specific for hair growth. Best of luck in growing your hair.
Take 1000mcg doses of Biotin. You can find this at any drugstore. Start out at 1000mcg, then up the dose slowly (over the course of several weeks) to 2000mcg, then 3000mcg, etc etc. An optimum dose is 5000mcg. Biotin is very safe. It's nearly impossible to overdose
There's a vitamin you can get at the drugstore called Hair, Skin %26amp; Nails...I started taking it about 3 weeks ago and believe it or not, I already notice a difference!
Vitamin B, sweetie. Get Jameson Vitamin B tablets. Over-the-counter
Biotin. Vitamin B6 or B12 I can't remember.
biotin is brilliant it makes your hair grow so fast!
vitamin E
I wouldn't try Prenatal Vitamins, they are meant for pregnant woman, they may cause a hormonal imbalance.

I would try Vitamin E.

Are you looking at your hair in the mirror and just wishing you could grow long hair fast? Are you tired of the trim, cut, grow, cut cycle?

It takes a huge commitment to grow your mane amazing lengths. But it can be done! Below, are the top 10 tips to achieving length in the least amount of time.

You need to start off with the health of your hair. So, go to a place like Super Cuts and get a good trim of about 陆 inch at least. Now you're ready for maximum growth.

Wear protective styles every single day. No exception. This means French rolls, buns or other types of updos where your hair ends are not exposed to the air.

Eliminate any and all types of heat. Put away the curling iron. Hide the flat iron. Put the blow dryer in the back of the closet. They will not help you reach your goal.

Keep your ends moisturized. On a daily basis, add moisture to your ends in terms of a lotion moisturizer, oil like jojoba or a leave-in conditioner.

Keep your tresses super conditioned by using a moisturizing conditioner bi-weekly and a protein conditioner once a month to keep your hair nice and strong.

Treat your hair like super fine lace! Be gentle and take your time when combing, detangling, and styling.

Do not play in your hair. Style it for the day and leave it alone. Constantly fussing with it will only make it dry which leads to split ends.

Wear a protective satin or silk scarf when you go to bed at night. If you don't do either of those, then sleep on a satin pillowcase. These will keep you from getting tangles and dryness.

Make sure you're getting all of the proper nutrition by eating lots of vegetables and getting protein. Take a multi-vitamin to make sure you're getting all of the vitamins you need.

Use moisturizing products only. Learn about the ingredients in shampoos and stay away from harsh shampoos. Try brands by Neutrogena, Nexxus, Keracare.

If you're serious about growing long hair fast, I hope these tips will be a reference guide for how you can do it. Remember, it takes a commitment and is not something that can happen overnight. You must commit to taking better care of your hair for a long time and not give up because you don't see results as quickly as you'd like. Stick with it and I can guarantee you'll see results!
